I don’t usually like to plug a particular airline, but fares to Italy are never cheap, especially during the busy summer months. This morning I booked a ticket with Aer Lingus for four weeks in June, and my total cost was $699.00, from JFK to FCO with a stopover in Dublin. That’s a pretty good deal for a summer fare, so if you’re looking to go to Italy, check out their web site.
According to their web site, the fare sale will last until February 20th, but inexpensive seats such as those are bound to go fast! I found the fare sale by accident using SideStep, and I also found the fare sale on Expedia and Travelocity, but I found the best price on Aer Lingus’s web site ($50 less than what was advertised on Expedia or Travelocity).
If you know of any other fare sales or airlines offering discounts, please feel free to leave a comment.
Again, I just want to reiterate that this post is by no means an endorsement of the airline nor am I an agent or representative of the airline — I’m just speaking about my own recent experience. Your actual fare and experience may be different (and better!).
