More on Caravaggio

I’m really big into interactive maps because I think that seeing is really believing, especially when it comes to geography. This recent article in La Repubblica talks about the Caravaggio exhibit at the Scuderie in Rome, but did you know that there are many Caravaggio paintings located in many churches, chapels and museums all throughout Rome? Don’t forget to check out a basic interactive map that I created through Google Maps showing locations of various works by the artist in Rome.

There are more Caravaggio’s in Rome than in any other location. And while there are Caravaggio works in museums and other locales all over the world, the majority of them are located in Rome. Head to the Scuderie to see the exhibit — I’m sure it’s going to be a great one, and you’ll also learn a lot about the artist.
Read the article here and look at the interactive map put together by La Repubblica that shows some of the places that the artist frequented during his time in Rome.
